refined faith

In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:6-7

I’ve been a terrible blogger lately.  We have no news on the adoption front other than we are still waiting for the judges to hear our case or assign us a new date to hear our case.  We are fast approaching 10 months since we received the boys’ referrals…its hard to believe we are no more closer to bringing them home now than we were in January!  But, given several other circumstances that have popped up in our family life over the last couple of weeks, God has made very clear to us that He is sovereignly working out all the details of our lives.  As crazy as this life is and continues to be, I trust Him more than I ever have before.  And I continue to remain deeply humbled and grateful that He chose me to be His daughter and entrusted such an incredible life to me, trials and all.  Lord willing, we’ll have some good news very soon!
